Brief
Rudolf Costin and I were about to start our life together when he showed me all his contact sheets, to catch me up with the years that I missed. The first frames of each 35 mm negative were burnt, and I found that was a great metaphor for our beginning and frankly, all beginnings. This book juxtaposes those first frames with haikus typeset from a Letraset sheet.
